FOR THE CONSULTANCY CONTRACT OF ___________________________


  1. Nature of the consultancy: Services on developing illustrations for a brochure on the rights of migrants, tailored to youth and children


  1. Objective: Develop a set of illustrations for a brochure, aimed to promote safe migration and prevent human rights violations among migrants, including victims of human trafficking.

Target: Illustrations to be used for the brochure, tailored to youth and children, with a focus on issues related to promotion of the rights of migrants at all the stages of migration.


  1. IOM Project to which the Consultancy is contributing: USAID DAR 'Counter Trafficking' Regional Project in Central Asia


  1. 4.     Tasks to be performed under this contract:

a)     Desk study of materials, related to migration, rights of migrants, human trafficking, to enhance understanding of the topic;

b)     Familiarization with the concept and structure of the brochure to develop and suggest ideas on draft illustrations;

c)     Work closely with the developer of the content for the brochure to formulate ideas for youth and children friendly illustrations;

d)     In coordination with IOM, formulate each illustration (total expected number of illustrations not less than 14 in high resolution in colour) and prepare sketches;

e)     Finalize sketches into ready illustrations, taking into consideration comments from IOM, if any;

f)      Coordinate with IOM selected (in line with procurement requirements) printing company during the process of pre-printing lay-out of the brochure;

g)     Participate and/or initiate meeting(s) with the supervisor, to discuss specific peculiarities of migration and counter-trafficking subjects, aiming to ensure good understanding of the topic, if needed.

  1. The output of the work assignment: At least 14 high-resolution illustrations in colour, on the given thematic.
  2. Delivery date: April 20, 2019
  3. The performance indicator will be feedback from IOM.
