1. Nature of the consultancy: Photographer services to produce a photo project for the photo-album depicting success stories of IOM beneficiaries as good practices.

  1. IOM Project to which the Consultancy is contributing: ‘Strengthening Counter-Trafficking and Protecting Vulnerable Migrants in Central Asia in Response to Regional and Global Challenges’ project funded by Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs


  1. 5.     Tasks to be performed under this contract:

a)     Conduct a pre-assignment desktop-study of available international promo materials and photo projects, directed at promoting good reintegration practices, including establishing small businesses by returning migrants;

b)     Advice relevant IOM staff member on selection of illustrative and diversified (in terms of type of business, region, gender and age) success stories of returning migrants, to be covered by the photo project;

c)     Work in close cooperation with relevant IOM staff on developing the structure of the Photo album and drafting a schedule of field trips;

d)     Advice beneficiaries on pre-shooting preparations, if necessary;

e)     Conduct field trips to at least 4 regions of Uzbekistan and conduct relevant photo shooting of at least 10 migrants for the project;

f)      Conduct required selection, processing and compilation of the photo project, based on conducted photo-shootings;

g)     In coordination with the story-writer, compile the photo album (upon receiving texts of success stories in Uzbek, Russian and English) and finalise in accordance with received comments from IOM, if any;

h)     Work on design and layouts of the photo album;

i)      Participate and/or initiate meeting(s) with the supervisor and story-writer, to discuss specific peculiarities of set subjects, aiming to ensure good understanding of the topic, if needed.
